Optima Vigor+ (Optima Sugar+ in the Netherlands) is a unique specialty foliar fertiliser with amazing results. Growers who use Optima Sugar+ see substantial pluses in their yields: more than 950 kg per hectare more net sugar, which ensures a significant increase in yield.
Special formula
Optima Vigor+ has been specially developed and optimized to increase the sugar yield in sugar beets. The formula with a high concentration (14%) of calcium combined with nitrogen, magnesium, manganese and other trace elements ensures that both the gross yield and the sugar yield per hectare increase significantly. This foliar fertiliser can also be used in other crops.
Why the + in Optima Vigor +
The + of Optima Vigor+ stands for the addition of trace elements as a supplement to the other nutrients. Our test results show that trace elements are only needed in very small amounts and are absorbed very efficiently when applied not as salt, but in a formulated form via the leaf. As a result, a better absorption can be achieved with a small amount.
Higher gross revenue
The improved crop status has also led to an increase in gross sugar beet yield (see figure 2). In both 2019 and 2020, the yield of the fields treated with Optima Vigor+ was between 5.6% and 9.2% higher compared to the practical reference.

Higher sugar yield
In addition, the total sugar yield in the various experiments was also increased (see Figure 3). The average sugar yield in the Optima Sugar+ treated objects was 6.7% to 10.3% higher compared to the practical object where no foliar fertiliser was used.

Visual effect
In addition to the fact that the result of Optima Sugar + certainly shows itself in the yields and results, this actually becomes clear in the field during cultivation. The treated field clearly shows stronger and greener plants.
Ease of use
In addition to the effectiveness of the foliar fertiliser, we have also focussed on the ease of use. Soiltech's formulation technology has resulted in a highly concentrated foliar fertiliser with a density of 1.6 kg/l, without any settling or crystallization of the product in the can. It is not necessary to shake the product before use.
