Optima Leaf-KS is an easy-to-use potassium / sulphur foliar fertiliser specially formulated for immediate and efficient uptake. It contains different forms of potassium, sulphur and a biodegradable effluent to make uptake even more efficient. A foliar fertilisation with Optima Leaf-KS supports crucial processes in the plant, giving better yields with better quality.

Potassium intake is very important to keep crops vital during dry and hot periods. In addition, potassium plays an important role in filling the grains, bulbs, tubers or fruits. Sulphur plays an important role in the formation of proteins and enzymes in the plant. Due to the increasingly clean air, there is less and less freely absorbable sulphur in the soil.

Optima Leaf-KS contains not only various forms of very easily absorbable potassium (K) but also a high level of directly absorbable sulphur (S). The biodegradable wetting agent ensures even better distribution of the droplet on the leaf and therefore even better uptake. Despite potassium and sulphur nutrients given via the soil, a large proportion of leaf analyses show potassium and/or sulphur deficiency during tuber/bulb/fruit growth. Optima Leaf-KS has been specially developed to provide fruits, vegetables and field crops with sufficient potassium and sulphur via a foliar application.

** Measured in a 1 in 100 dilution with local tap water. Variation may occur when using a different water source. During storage, pH may rise above the specified pH range.

Available in 10, 300 and 1000 litre containers.

Application rates

Foliar application (maximum concentration 1:50).

Potatoes, onions:

5 litres per hectare.
Apply 3 times during development of tubers or bulbs.

Fruit trees, viticulture:

3 litres per hectare.
Apply 5 times from fruitset until 3 weeks before harvesting.

Oilseed rape:

2 - 3 litres per hectare.
Apply 1 - 2 times a year around flowering.

Grain:

2 - 3 litres per hectare.
Apply 1 - 2 times a year.

Pea and bean:

2 - 3 litres per hectare.
Apply 1 - 2 times a year around flowering.

Other crops:

3 - 5 litres per hectare.
Apply as required (2 - 6 times a year).

Instructions for use

Shake/stir well before use.
Store in a cool and dry place, out of direct sunlight. This product has been tested and can be safely stored at temperatures from 5°C to 25°C. Crystallisation and/or sedimentation may occur below 5°C.
Ensure suitable spraying conditions (e.g. temperature, humidity, wind speed). Do not treat if the temperature is >25°C or if it may rise >25°C in the hours after application.
Perform treatment preferably at the end of the day. Do not apply before harvest.
Do not apply if copper hydroxide residue is present on the plant.
Do not mix with other products in pure, undiluted form.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage and concentration.
For the compatibility of Optima Leaf-KS with other products, consult your advisor.
It is recommended to do a test treatment on sensitive plants before applying on a full crop.
The shelf life of the product is indicated on the label. As long as the storage instructions are met, the best-before date (BBD) on the label is leading.
